Default OK then

As I have replayed to the priavte message:

I'am happy to give this MIDLET
for free
to tester/friends

BUT

- I want to give the program to few person and the program must not be shared (I dont wont to find this program in some P2P or download )

- The program is created for my personal use so consider only for test (i.e. disclaimer for all ... bug in primis)

- I dont wont that some one try to decompile and/or alter the program

So if some one is interested
and accept this simple rules
(is a temporary "gift" for just for someone)
we have 2 solution:

a) if you have a fixed IP address for the AS400 (as I have) you just send this information to me and I har code this IP code in the program (port and device number are unlocked)

b) If you dont have this fixed IP adderss (strange but possible)
when I have time
I will introduce a PIN system verification (I hate to do it)
and so send to me the pin

Well

- I have send 2 copy of the midlet to jhondm and I wait for feed back

- for screen shot ... Is a tipical telnet screen ... anyway

I have changed IP , port and device name (for privacy)
and attached imaged from the various simulator

If you want a real image of ypur as400
(number of rows/columns depend on device)
just ask for a free copy
of the midlet

Default No feedback

Absolutelly no feedback
from this forum
in particular from johndm
to wich I have send two copy of the software.

At this point
I will mantain the program for myself
I will add new feature
and if some one is interested I will ask money
as Ikkodorro and others

May be that free software is not interesting ...

and some one say
that there are few developers
and freeware
on BB
compared to other platform

How can I connect to my iSeries without a VPN IPSec/TCP client? I do not have enterprise server. Have you found a way to make VPN IPSec to work? I cannot connect at all. With my iPhone I am able to but not with the BlackBerry.

Any input will be apreciated

now what about a client for an IBM OS390 Mainframe. We're running z/OS and I would love to have a terminal that I can connect to it on my BlackBerry Bold

If someone is interested
to test this free software
with Ibm system
no problem
just write me at
rebus55555 <a> gmail . com

For IBM OS390 Mainframe I really dont know if
a 5250 like VT100 telnet extended will work
basically the question is
VT100 can connect to OS390 ?
if yes
this software can do it
in better way
if not
we have to try but ...

I have attached the manual
just in case
