Sucks the battery down...this software is no good. My BB went dead in 6 hours with this running...with Jivetalk I get about 20 hours battery life. That's still bad since without either (running googletalk for example), my bb will last 2 days.

IM+ is a good program just as JTalk is. But $50 is steep! I went with Jtalk. You got to love competition. Keeps prices down and comes up with lots of good features.

Dowloaded New Beta and will try tonight. So far i have no issues to Report the prgram runs smooth and the battery life isnt a issue for me. It reconnects after calls and everything.

I have this running 24 hours and its no more of a battery drain than JT. In fact I think JT is worse and I am a registered user of both. |

Even though I already have IM+, I decided to try the beta. Oh, and I use IM+ for Skype. Would like to see the Skype application become as nice as current IM+ beta. Does anyone know if the company is going to change the UI there?
Regarding IM+, I like the app, it is nice. Considering it is a beta, I could forgive a few issues.
Have a few questions
Whatxxx8217;s extended autoaway?
Press and Hold, donxxx8217;t quite understand what that means either
I also get frustrated when the box with the notification disappears. Isnxxx8217;t there a way to like go to chat right away?
Oh, and maybe have an option that will show the message from the user, when I focus on his name?
Finally, maybe it would be possible to have a vibrating alert when the device is on silent.
I know I have a lot of questions. Sorryxxx8230;. But, hey the application is already great, I am just suggesting.

I never got this app to work on any of my devices- its very buggy - palm, windows, etc - I will stick with Jive Talk

Yes, we are going to change UI in IM+ for Skype Software after we receive approval of new UI from IM+ beta testers.

That's how Press&Hold works.
You can press and hold trackwheel or trackball in Services, Contacts or Dialog screen and see list of opened dialogs and quickly switch between them.

You can adjust this in Settings / IM Notification.
Under "When IM arrives" select "Jump for chat".
