this theme is by far my favorite so far...

only one request... can you make it so that menus use the fonts/sizes that are user-defined in the "screen/keyboard" settings panel? i'm not a fan of the large menu text that doesn't match my font preference

otherwise, this theme is great, and the only one on these forums i actually have chosen to use! great job!

Glad to hear you like the theme! Bad news is plazmic doesn't let me do what your asking. I have to specify font type and size for lists and menus ect... PM me the font and size you like and I'll hook you up over the weekend.

A smaller font at size 7 in BBMillBank Tall might look nice. I just like mine as small as possible to fit as much as I can on the screen. Sometimes I also like BB Casual in the smallest size (7) I can manage.

Like the Theme!

Would it be possible to get just a slight variation where the phone icon is the 8820 model and not the curve to match with my phone (8820)?

I love this theme, but is there anyway to let me pick my own font type? I am not sure if the Plazmic CDK allows this?
I should read the whole thread ... Can't be done :(
Would you be willing to distribute the .thm file (and whatever else I may need) so I can tweak it on my own?

This theme is just what I was looking for. The default Today theme from RIM has one big usability problem, imo. Because the clock and date font is dark with a white shadow and the rest of the text is the reverse, it's nearly impossible to find a background that makes everything readable. This theme solves that problem. *Thank you!*

That said, is there any way to show more text of a particular message or calendar item displayed in the Today screen? On my 8310, they only seem to take up 2/3 of the screen width before they're cut off with a "...". I'm guessing this is a limitation on Plasmic's end, but thought I'd ask.

One other thing I noticed - the lightning bolt that indicates the phone is charging would be easier to identify if it too were white, like the battery meter.

Thanks again. Well done!

So I've compared Elemental to RIM's default Today theme and there's no difference in the amount of item information displayed on the "today" screen itself. Maybe a future release of the theme builder will allow for more, but it's honestly no big deal to me.

Regarding the battery charging indicator, I've also noticed that the battery outline itself is also black and quite invisible when using dark wallpaper. Was that intentional? I'd think a white outline would be more readable without detracting from the design.

I'm still loving this theme. It's the only one I care to use.

Is there anyway to make your theme without the first menu with all icons going down the left hand side of the screen? In my 8310 the theme I have is called "icons" which gives me the default setup of a 7290 say.

Thanks
Andrew

Just when I thought I would never enjoy a theme like the one I had on my Pearl that showed upcoming calendar info and recent messages. I found a Today+ theme... for ten dollars! ... here in this forum. No thanks.

Then I found this! GREAT!

Fantastic job!!!

Of course everyone has their special requests, here's mine --- make the time bigger. Move the icons from below it somewhere else if you can and make the time bigger.

Even if you can't do this, I am still very pleased! Thanks for your service!!

BIG thanks to everyone who has posted. Sorry for being MIA from this thread and plazmic for a while.... I've made a couple of updates that have been suggested in the thread to the zen and today versions and am about 90% done with an icon version. I'll be posting all of the updates at once. Since so many have requested little changes here and there (fonts etc...) I will also be posting download links for the theme files too! As for the 8100 version I don't know that I'm going to be able to do it. I started it but I don't have an 8100 and I really can't fathom making a theme when I can't test it
