just got my blackberry about month ago and i switched the handheld off. and now the light keeps flashing red and wont start up again :(. ive taken out the battery still wont come on.

Sounds like the battery is so low it doesn't want to charge. You should try leaving it plugged into the charger for 6 hours or overnight.
