Re: Using my Bluetooth Headset
If your wife's is doing the same thing, with the same headset...logic seems to dictate it's your headset gone bad...to me anyway. There are no settings on a BB to control that AFAIK...however, the only thing that doesn't work here, is that your Plantronics does it as well with your BB...
Which OS is your BB on? I've never heard of an issue like this...
Some online tech savvy people are saying to backup the data - wipe the phone and restore, without the call logs...
It could well be data corruption causing this - and the more I think about it, the more I'm convinced it exactly that.
This is what I'd try --
1) Backup all of your data
2) Use Javawipe or Javaloader to wipe the phone date and usable OS
3) Restore the latest OS
4) After the OS restore (but NOT data) - test the Bluetooth function with a re-pairing of the devices.
5) If it all works well, selectively restore your data, excluding the phone options and logs.
There are other reports of this happening on other BB's via various types of Bluetooth connections...
