Default DM 4.6 - ATT 8700c - Device App. Update

Please Login to Remove!

At the prompting of AT&T, I switched from DM 4.3 to DM 4.6. First synch went OK. Now (day 2), I plugged in to synch again, and DM4.6 immediately opened box with message: "Checking for device application updates. Please wait..."

I have left the 8700c connected for 15+ minutes with no change. When I unplug the BB, the DM4.6 screen stays up, along with the message box.

I can't seem to find a setting to change. Any advice about this? I would like to synch again, but can't get beyond the initial screen.

To answer your question, the Cancel button did not work. However, I tried removing the DM4.6 from the computer, and re-installing it from the AT&T website. Now it works just fine. Thanks for the reply...and I shoulda tried getting rid of the software first, I guess.
