hi I need serious help,
my 8310 started this morning with the following issue, white screen with hour glas then black screen, fkashing red led.
downloaded dm6, jlcmderv 1.9.3,
javaloader starts and runs up to when u type blackberry then it suddenly stops working, when running DM it loads software but when it starts inizilation it tries to reconnect to jvm and then fails.
tried to wipe on xp system as well but it does not connect spend about 6 hrs trying JL_Cmder but to no avail.
on Win7 it just connects and disconnects
tried BBSAK too, no connection

What did you do just before it happened? Drop it or get it wet?

Did you try a battery pull and a new battery?

nope did not drop it nor gotit wet, phone belongs to the wife. did the battery pull thing, still cannot wipe or even upgrade, looks like it does not want to communicate with pc. keeps giving reconnectingto jvm. when doing it the coomand prompt way /nojvm still doesthe same. will try the new battery today

OK. What did your wife do just before this happened?

You probably need to try to wipe with Jl_cmdr (see the FAQ) and then reload the OS. Hope her data is backed up, otherwise it is gone.

she did absolutely nothing, the phone died while on a call due to low battery, she put the phone on charge and then it started with the loop.

i'm running jl_cmder v 1.9.3 on my dell latitude d620 and when i type blackberry and hit enter i get an error message saying it stopped working, tried on her machine with V1.9.1 and v1.9.3 and get a message saying that there is an erro in the connecting could not open the port.
took it to some cell re4pair shops and they all told me it needs to be flashed wtf does that mean?
tried with a new battery as well and get the same results.

next step? Land Rover treatment? drive over it
