Just had to reload my OS (Windows 7). Reloaded DesKtop Mngr 6.2010. Sees my Storm 9530, sees all its software, and add-ins, but after selecting apps for updating (BB 5.0.0 Core App), and other apps for updating or removing, the "Apply" button does not "click" and the action is not done.

It may be as simple as loading the 9530 software on the PC. there are some issues with updating that when DM checks and does not find the OS for the connected BB it wont allow updates. You did not indicate if you had the OS on the PC.
