Can't buy pin numbers because they are attached to a device. So if it were possible you'd be buying the entire device.
Here's something for more reference: http://www.blackberryforums.com/gene...cteristic.html

Haha, not this again. It's not possible to purchase JUST a pin, nor is it possible to specify what pin you get when you purchase a device.

Lol, NJ, you always make me laugh. Again, another reason for a sarcasm font.

It should be an option, like "Bold", "Italic", or "Underline". Lol.

hey everyone!!! ummmm i think i mite be the only person in this forum who gets where this guy is comin from lol. i was accually surprised at the idea of payin thousands for a "nice" pin. u can accually find pins like that and its reeli common in dubai, where i live. they do the same about phone numbers, lisense plate numbers, even emails. i have a friend whos lisense plate number cost more than his car :s. some ppl have a lot of money and dnt know wat to do with it so dont be surprised loool personly i think its a waste tho to accually own one unless ure too rich, but by buyin and sellin em can make good money. anyways ill get to my point. dude whos asking for a pin i got one for u. ovi u ahve to buy the whole blackberry to have it. its a blackberry bold 9000. ovi i cnt give u the exact pin but ill put it in terms of X and Y . X is one num and Y is another. so it looks like this : XXXXXXYX . If u wna buy it let me know ;). anyways i think theres an other forum thing about this topic so im gna post this there as well. and if ure not interested in the pin im puttin up for sale then i can let you know where u can find maaannny "nice" pins, theres this auto magazine in UAE, sells lisense plate nums, phone nums, and yes blakberryy pins . so just let me know if anyone wnts one.

These "vanity PIN" people are like turds in a swimming pool. You can poke them back down to the bottom with a stick, but eventually they float back to the top, and completely ruin the view.

i feel the same way about the posers who want custom painted blackberrys, pearl owners, a blackberry without a data plan because they cant afford it, people who post their PINs on public forums, or blackberry users not on a BES. the last one being the silliest as they think it's a status symbol; wanting to look like they're important without actually being important... BIS users tied to a webmail account, thumbing thru spam and pretending it's important are like the bluetools who never remove their bt headsets and always pretend to be on a call while looking around to make sure others are looking at them.

why is everyone assuming these folks are trying to buy customized or "hacked" PINs? no one thought these people are looking for legit blackberrys that simply came off the assembly line with, in their opinion, a desirable PIN?
