Hi everyone,

I recently purchased a Bold 9700 and while it worked fine at first, I am now having a problem: whenever I unlock the keypad, the phone will lag for about 5-10 seconds before it responds.

Has anyone had this problem before, or know how I can fix this?

What Operating Systerm are you using?

It is recommended to use 5.0.0.714 it's the best for the 9700

It may be best for you, but your os choice isn't always everyones solution to the problem, and its recommended by who??? In response to the OP, have you checked what programs are running you may have left a few programs running. Hold down the BB key until the task manager comes up and see what's in there, you should only have 5 or 6 items running, if you've left twitter or facebook running they can cause lag after a while. If that doesn't work try a battery pull and see how it is after that.

I thought .680 was the best. Tell us, O Leader, which OS is really the best?
