I just turned on my blackberry 8900 and it seems like its moving to the left on its own. When typing a text message it is constantly changing the characters and scrolling over to the left side. Sometimes won't let me scroll at all. Thought it was due to a dirty trackball or something. Replaced it with a new spare that I had and it seems to still happens. Could this be caused by trackball membrane problem or OS problem? I'm currently running 4.6.1.231. Thanks for the help guys

Could be the membrane but sounds as if perhaps moisture has gotten into the bb

Highly unlikely to be an OS issue. Trapped pocket lint or water most likely. Sweaty pocket? Gym bag? Steamy shower room? Are the moisture stickers intact?

Is there anyway to fix this? What are the moisture stickers? Now I can only scroll UP, Left and Right. I can't scroll down. It hasn't scrolled by itself lately. I don't know why its doing this.
