Default NotNow - Ignore and send friendly sms beta

Please Login to Remove!

NotNow lets you ignore the incoming call and send a friendly SMS message to the caller when you can not answer the call.

There are times that you can not answer the call such as in a meeting, at the movie, driving or just busy. You can simply press the Ignore button and then select a predefined message to send to the caller.

Not sure how this app would affect YouMail. Have you had issues?

This is working fine for me...

The "Always send to Mobile number" option does not appear to work on my 8830 (OS v4.2.2.196). If I enable this option, the dialogue to send a message is NEVER presented, even if there is a mobile number for the caller (or the call is from a mobile number). Disabling the option makes the app act like v0.60.

so when you disable send to mobile do you get the "send to" screen when you ignore the call?

the problem could be the way the phone number is entered in your contacts app. try and make sure the phone number is format like 15551234567 dont put extra characters in there. NotNow strips the incoming number and only takes the digits eg: 18001234567

All of my numbers have been entered in international dialing format, eg: +1 (800) 555-1212. Are you saying that if I use that format, your application won't properly identify the number? That is bogus, as the format that I choose/use is the standard for international dialing.

We resolved this earlier via e-mail -- it appears to have been a permissions issue. Even though I selected "Set application permissions."during the installation, not all of the required permissions were set. Additional permissions within the Interactions section (most likely Keystroke Injection) were necessary in order for NotNow to work properly with "Always send to Mobile number" enabled.

That being said, all phone numbers within my Address Book (all 1300+ contacts) are in the format (###) ###-#### with no leading 1, which is the default for Microsoft Outlook (synchronized with Outlook on a BES server). This does not appear to present any issues with NotNow recognizing numbers in the address book.

1 In NotNow app goto the "Do Not Disturb" menu
2 Enter the keyword eg: -dnd-
3 Go back to the Calendar app
4 Add a new appointment
5 Enter the keyword in the Subject field eg: -dnd-
6 Save the appointment

Why not? You can just send it to contact's email instead the mobile number.

Best,
Jaime
