Uhmm, I have the $15 Unlimited E-mail for my Data Plan..
And I have the Windows Live Messenger application installed.
I am able to connect, but does anyone know the normal payments for using it?

And how much will I get charged..
Or is the messenger using SMS to transfer the messagings for instant responses?


Sorry I had to make this really short because I am still in school at the moment and this is my last period to have a computer available to me.

If u have unlimited data plan then you will be fine. I have unlimited on my curve and i use AIM/YAHOO/MSN and it doesnt charge me extra

Unlimited Email does not cover data usage for IM programs. You will get dinged for using it if it is logging into the server.

you get charged based on data usage...most charge based on kBs used.

you may want to confirm with Rogers, my wife had that unlimited email option, and BBMessenger was included. She didnt use AOL or Live messenger so I cant say. I think it is included in the email plan; but dont take my word for it.

FYI, she upgraded her plan to value plan that includes:
500MB data,
10000 SMS and 10000 MMS
Enhanced Vmail
CallerID... etc..
all for $30 and they have a promo that you get $10 off/month.. the catch is 3 yr data contract... but thats a great deal. (PS, there is a unltd email plan instead of 500 mb data, the latter makes way better sense). Some reps may not know this deal as it is only a few weeks old. Check out hofo, they have all that info.
