Default 'recycling' my 8310

Please Login to Remove!

Morning

I have an old 8310 that I used for work over a year ago, and wanted to now use it personally to venture inot the world of smartphones ... ideally in Nov I will upgrade.

I haven't been able to work out how to add my personal email address, and all the instructions on the site relate to starting with a new phone. Would I be best to do a reset, and how would I do that?

Thanks in advance

DB

You likely need to remove the IT policy if one exists on the device.
Remove IT Policy - BlackBerryFAQ

Then you need to get a BlackBerry Data Plan from your carrier. You will not get the personal email setup option without the correct data plan.
