Default AT&T to Cingular Theme

Please Login to Remove!

I upgraded to the TIM OS and realized how much I hate the AT&T theme, mostly due to the centering of the message count and the new icon count (plus the icons are hideous).

I re-installed the Cingular theme from .71 and it works ok except for a lingering problem, the top part where the date is normally shown is now too large and not only covers the top pixel of the time (which is only a nuisance) but now I can't see the full date. Is there a way to fix this? Am I stuck with AT&T or this bug since I doubt AT&T/Cingular will fix an older branded theme?

there are other themes available on mobile.blackberry.com if you use your internet browser (not the media net one). Also there are themes in this section of the forum that are compatible w/ the Pearl you could download.

I was aware of that. I'm just a creature of habit with so much time spent with the Cingular theme. Luckily it appears the date thing seems to have resolved itself (or I was very tired when it "happened") so I'm happy even though the date still squishes the time.

Ugh. It seems that some days like WED are very wide and block out the actual day #. I may just have to get used to the [very shiny] AT&T theme.

Smile Some of these issues may be fixed in new 8800 software release

AT&T just posed updated software on their download site, I loaded it and now the AT&T theme has three rows of icons like it should, instead of the two rows in the Rogers release, It seems to have fixed these other issues you guys mentioned as well.
