welcome to the forums,
your boss' pearl must be a model 8120 for this to work (wifi enabled), plus, the router used for wireless internet must be supported with the blackberry. if both of the above requirements are met, she should have internet connection using the "set-up wifi" option from her menu screen. Some sites and features will require her to have a blackberry data plan.

my applogies for not starting a new thread i guess i figured that since someone that knew about this had already chimed in they may be able to answer my question anyway my appologies. so i dont want to make the bb a router i want to just use the usb cable to share the inet
