Hi Folks
Just want to introduce myself and ask a question that's been bugging me. I work in northern (soggy) California doing data recovery and computer sales and service. I often make on-site calls and got tired of carrying a cell phone and a PDA so went to the Blackberry 7290 without the e-mail.
My question is this: Has anyone else had problems getting the thing out of the holster? Mine shot out when I tried to answer a call a few weeks after I got it and made a not so gentle landing 3 or 4 feet away. I was wondering if this was common or I just need physical therapy.

If its the plastic holster, yeah, I had a pretty snug fit with my 8700c when I first started using it. I have gotten used to it, but I think I am going to get a leather case soon.

I do BB support for our organization and I can tell you it happens more than I'd like! (two just yesterday). It does require a little getting used to but you will adjust.

That's what many users have come to know the holster as the "Launcher." Invest in a good case, you'll thank me.
