I know I have probably MISSED this information somewhere....but I did read through the thread and was confused about themes with 7250's. I have a Verizon 7250 AND the Sprint 4.1 handheld software. I love the themes for the 7100 & 8700 series devices. Will any of those work on my device? I would love a vacation (cruise ship, island & ocean) theme. I haven't the foggiest idea how to make a theme. Could someone point me in the direction of such a theme or make one if it's not alot to ask? Thanks for any help or information!

Only themes specific for your device can work in your device so 7100 or 8700 series will not owrk on the 7250, do a search for Plazmic software on this forum or at the top of the home screen look for a sticky about themes just start reading from the beginning rather than go to the last entry.

srl7741 is it possible to get a nicer incoming call secreen for the mets like you did for the phillies theme 7200 or superman you did for 7100....either way thanks again...

Ok.....I have decided to get off my lazy bum and attempt creating a theme on my own. IF I would create my own icons, what would the best way to go about that? I've tried searching for travel related jpgs, gifs, icons, even clip art and have found nothing that 'wows' me. I figured I would start with something that was already an attractive graphic of a cruise ship, palm tree, beach, etc, etc.

HI all,
I have upgraded my 7290 to 4.1 so I can download themes. Now when I download themes it says that no additions to your device. Is there something I am doign wrong. I am using these steps. Unzip the theme on my desktop. Open my desktop manager. Add the xml file. Click next and it says no additions to your device.??

Whats the right method of installing theme on 4.1 ? Can someone please give me the thread. I am installing theme on 7290 4.1 version and it gives me an error message "No additional applications designed for your device were found". HELP !!!

Here’s how to install with the desktop manager:

1. Download the zip file to your PC:
2. Unzip the files to a Folder. Name the folder with the theme name.
3. Connect your Blackberry to your computer.
4. Open up Desktop Manager –> Application Loader –> Add. Point to the theme folder you created.
5. Find the file called “Theme-name.alx” and hit “OK”.
6. Find the file called “Plazmic_Theme_Reader.alx” and hit “OK”.

After the installation finishes, re-boot your device.
You can now change your themes by going to Settings –> Options –> Themes.

hey everyone, i was wondering if there is a way to change the clock on the main BB screen to include a seconds ticker. i wanna create a theme for the TV show 24. any help would be appreaciated.
side note: ink80, be sure to scan the whole list when you are trying to load the theme using the app loader. i found that my desktop software wanted to delete some of the default themes when i tried to load new ones. might not make sense, but scan your whole list right from the core apps down to the bottom. i almost uninstalled my plazmic reader one time because of this. hopeit helps
