Arrow 8320 to MacBook BT Transfer Issue

Please Login to Remove!

folks for some reason, i could not send a file from the 8320 to my MacBook (Leopard), i get an error message "Failed to find service" --- i just paired these two tonight and the 8320 can receive transfers from Leopard fine; when i checked the MacBook's properties on the 8320, i found out that there's only 2 services:
1. Bluetooh-PDA-Sync (when you tether, mos def)
2. AVRCP Target

the OPP is missing; anybody else experiencing this issue?

I just transfered a picture from my Curve (same exact model as yours) to my Mac (10.5.1) without an issue. Under 'Sharing' in 'System Preferences' make sure 'Bluetooth Sharing' is on.

Google IS my friend! Thanks from me too Fyrefiend. I just bought a used blackbook and was having the identical problem. I had transferred pics to my imac before but forgot about the Sharing preferences.
Thanks to you too ricpac for posting the question.

Can you post screen shots of your setup... or write a tutorial on how to set this up.

To use bluetooth, on your bb go to media>menu>reieve using bluetooth then go ahead and send the file. I've done that a few times and it works fine.

Just send a file to your Mac and you should get a prompt on screen. That should do it. Sorry for the delay.
