Don't hesistate to call on me. I can help you out tons here. Go learn how to add a layer and it's easy. I am sure Elements supports png files, so just grab mine and put it on the layer above yours.

For those who don't already know, unless the uses a non-standard size banner, the size for an 8700 is 320 X 76 pixels.

Hope this helps.

In PS Elements, use File/Save for Web option and you can not only save as PNGn but control conversion size and other settings easily.

Hope this helps.

Default I posted a sample

I accidently forgot that earlier. Does the 8700 support png? I just used it because it preserves transparency so that others can use this. I save a .psd file as my template for these if I want. Of course you can change colors too.

Yes, as a matter of fact, the Plazmic (subsidery of RIM, that creates the themes) Theme Builder converts all images to png.

Hope this helps.

Love the berries, but I gotta change my icons and text colors as they don't contrast enough, using a theme I created.

Thanks

lgreenberg - LOVE the input you're making! Have you read the portion about making a sidebar portion of a different color for complex colored images like youor berries? Maybe that would be nice - do you have the software to do it?

Love the patriotic images...

The whole idea with these images is the use of the Zen theme - to avoid icon issues. Have you not discovered Zen?

I did breeze over the post on the sidebar. I have Photoshop. I'll give some of them a try later.

Sure did. I'm all set.

It was kind of weird. I'm not even sure I had to do a full Enterprise activation. After I finished the load the BES activations started on it's on. I was thrown by that so I canceled it. Then I started it a new, entering the proper information. It finished very quickly (I never even saw a progress bar) and everything's been working fine since. I spoke to EMM and they guessed that since I never really deactivated perhaps a re-activation wasn't really needed.

In any case everything seems to be working fine.
