cool beans... you gotta do what you gotta do. normally, i'd jump all over this to get my new toy, but i'm a penny pincher by nature and if i can save 50-100 for waiting, fine by me.

i can use that money to take my wife out to a nice dinner...

to me waiting a couple of more weeks to get another possibly $50-$100 off is worth waiting for. making the phone $99.99 - $149.99 on the 11th for me.

if you can wait, do what i did and make sure they note it on the account they would offer it to you then with the loyalty discount.

I just called customer service and the woman that I talked to didn't know anything about the price. Very nice just didn't know what was up. My local store wasn't any help either.

When I called the first time, the rep had no pricing info yet (this was 0600 PST). Then called at 0700 and after a couple of minutes being on hold till he got the info, I was able to get it.

For those who got it in the US (unlocked, overnight) for less than $500 can you say where? I'm guessing online from a Canadian retailer? If so, also what were the customs duty you had to pay?

I can't wait any longer and UMA is a non-issue for me (ATT) - interested in pulling the trigger today.

I got mine for 50 through my Tmo rep here in the US. We are an enterprise with 30k users, probably 5k of which are on Tmo. We get it on the cheap!

Free overnight too.

Someone came into my store (CeX) looking to sell it to us but we didn't offer her a good enough price so I brought it off of her for $450 cash.

Having paid $620 (after 13% applied taxes), I feel so ripped! (Not to mention out of the loop on these vendors you guys speak of.)

£127 with data-only contract for £14 pm for 12 months. Orange seem to be the only ones offering a data-only plan, and I'm still tied into a previous contract for calls.

That's a great deal! I paid $200 and had to renew my contract. How did you negotiate such a good deal?
