Well I also ordered on the 11th and still my 8900 has not been sent out, I have been with T-mobile since 05 and its the first time this has happened. Just pisses me off they didn't tell me it was on back order from day 1. I guess it just a waiting game because they cant even give me a actual arrival date. At least i got the phone for $179 +tax. And yes i am a first time poster always browsed threw the forums for years sorry my first post had to be about not getting my phone

can i ask a favor... can those of you who show at least billing information received through UPS.. dial 611...say "order status" and get the details on your order?

Mine shows "billing information received" but when I call 611 it says backorder...I just want the phone in my hand!

That i can remember when you see "billing information received through UPS" that means your phone is being sent out, and you should receive it in a couple of days. My order number is not even valid in ups , at least you got some type of confirmation from ups that they have received the order and that it will ship soon.

well... Lol.. I do shipping/receiving for a profession so I know what it means. It means that the billing/shipping information has been created with UPS but the package has yet to be picked up /scanned by a UPS driver.

Though with tmobile shipments before - Ive seen it go straight from Billing INfo Received straight to delievered...

I just got a "follow up" email from tmobile telling me my phone is currently on back order. and the next time he's scheduled to "follow up" is on the 21st.

My guess is there system isn't updated internally - and my phone is actually shipping.(hoping so anyways)

He also said my complaints/comments/suggestions are being is being sent to the "voice team" for their consideration.

I gave them my peice of mind - how tmo customers should be able to track online - and that IF they are expecting a phone to sell out and be backordered - to put an astric by the phone saying they expect the phone to be on high demand ...BEFORE we order the phone. (yes, i know its high demand...but ive never had a problem in the past ..plus this way less people can complain) I also asked that everyone should be upgraded to free express shipping for making everyone wait. If the phones not available to ship...don't take our money for it!!!!!!!

Anyways - anyone else have any updates?

even after talking 2 tmo@1230cst, they said it was still on back order. When I got home @3pm, mine was on my doorstep so I don't know what's going on. checked ups and it was delivered @1130am. Tmo needs to get their stuff together. Still was a 4 days late!!!

so yeah - tmobile is now showing the first orgin scan.. I should have it on friday!
TMO still says my order is on back order...lol wow

Thumbs down ugh still no 8900

i ordered mine on the 12th. she said i would get it by today. havent received it - and have been checking ups everyday. called yesterday and a CSR said that it hasnt been processed by ups yet- called today and a CSR informed me its on backorder. wont receive till the 5th of march. fmylife.

i just got my phone today after ordering feb 11th and paying for 2 day shipping (which t-mo adjusted).

question though, i got 2 sim cards in the box but no rebate. i know i don't really qualify for the rebate since i was an existing customer upgrading at the $179 price but some customers who got the same deal said the $100 rebate card automatically comes in the box regardless of what price you paid. is this true? and was i suppose to get 2 sim cards in the box?

just check ups a minute ago and mine says it is going to be here tomorrow! finally! called around 4pm yesterday and they said that it was backordered and tonight i check and its on its way via next day air.

what are the production dates of the phones you all have recently received? it will say on the side of the box.

I ordered on the12th now but nothing on UPS Did you do regular shipping or express?

It's up to the discretion of the UPS driver. If he feels there's a safe location to put it..like a side door...or inside a porch..so it's out of view from the main road they generally will...or leave it with a neighbor.

I usually leave a note on the door for UPS instructing him what to do. (ex...walk around back and put it in back entrance(thats what she said) )
