Default Can you help me use my 8120 in Wifi?

Please Login to Remove!

OK, I have an AT&T Gophone plan for voice. No data plan. I got an unlocked 8120 on ebay and want to set it up for Wifi at home (this phone has never been set up before, and from the apps loaded I think it was an AT&T phone) I got the info and set up the phone. It is saying that it is connected to my router.
I changed the browser to the Hotspot browser but cannot connect. All I get is "Unable to connect to the internet, please try again later. IF the problem persists please contact your service provider."
I've searched and can't find a solution, can anyone advise me on how to be able to connect and use Wifi internet on this?
Thanks.

AT&T forces you to have a BB data plan to get the WIFI service books. Cannot connect without them.

Also AT&T will now be able to see you have a Blackberry [in their next IMEI sweep] and will automatically add the blackberry data pan to your account.
