Default JL Cmdr won't connect, continuous loop

Please Login to Remove!

Hi

I have an 8120. It got wet, now I get the spinning hourglass then the blackberry logo and the loading bar, it stops about 10% of the way, then gives a quick white screen with some errors, it's too fast to read, then it does the same over and over.

I have tried JL Cmder, but it won't connect.
I have tried the what to do if it JL Cmder won't connect, for about 5 seconds it will identify the usb port with USB Pin 31528837 but fails after displaying connecting to device (ARM), this is during the continuous loop at the loading bar.
I have tried over 20 times with and without battery.
Any ideas ? Best regards, Spartanv12.

Wirelessly posted

The "it got wet" part isn't encouraging. Are you thinking wiping it is going to fix liquid damage?

Pull the battery and put in a bag of rice for a few days. It MAY work again.

24hrs in bag of rice, still no good, been harassed by teenage son, he squeeled enough and convinced us to buy him a new phone $900. Wife is in trouble, she put it in washing machine in his jeans, recovered after 2 mins.

Shit has happened, gotta move on, but would love to get it going, I could use it myself, never had such a toy. My phone cost $29.
Any idea's. I believe it is a Storm 2 9520

Ouch!

900 USD?

Two minutes in the washing machine with the battery in . . . I don't konw. But I've read some incredible blackberry recover stories.

See the article at the FAQ. Allow plenty of time for the device to dry before you try it.

Good luck.

Post and update.
