Hello. My BB 8120 was exposed to water about 6 weeks ago. I turned the phone off as soon as I realized it, and then let it dry for a week before turning it on again. I was pretty sure it was going to be toast, but it wasn't. It turned on, however the screen had colored lines running through it and would become bright, then dim. I turned off the auto dim feature and set the brightness at 100 and that took care of that problem...and the lines went away after a few days so I continued to use the phone. Over the past few weeks however, the screen has slowly dimmed to the point where I can't read it unless I am in a nearly completely dark room.

I had an old 8100, so I tried taking the screen from that one and putting it on my 8120. The screen works, but is still very dim.

What else could be making the screen so dim? Is there another part I could take off of my 8100 to fix it?
