I just got my 9700, and noticed something immediately. The talk button seems like it's stuck. It's really hard to press, and doesn't really give any feedback when you do press it (no slight click like the other buttons). It doesn't feel like any of the other buttons (option, back or end call) when you press down on it. Do I have a defective unit? Or are others noticing this with the phone?

Other than this one issue, the phone is great.

That's a heck of a way to describe that the button is difficult to press!

But, my suggestion is to take it back and swap it out while you are in the return/exchange period. No need to keep something that clearly seems to be defective.

Yeah...It is that hard to press....Guess I'll exchange it this weekend.

Went to the T-Mobile store to exchange the phone. Was told I need to call 611 to exchange, since I ordered over the phone. I'm sending the phone back, and they'll send me a replacement. Won't have it till next week :(

Yuck, but at least another is on the way. Knock on wood this one will be okay.
