I just heard from my Sprint/Nextel dedicated support team and apparently there is a Nextel data outage in the southern US (Florida, Alabama, Texas, etc). The outage was first reported around 10:30am Eastern time.

Users may see NXTl (lowercase L) on their devices and all data services may be affected.

No ETA for resolution.

One user reported this on the dataoutages.com website via the contact form, it has not been posted to the mail list.

NC & SC (most of east coast) are experiencing data outage under NEXTEL.
Outage # 4682051. Any info out there about this?
