I recently upgraded my plan to include free browsing and then i decided to download app world but i keep getting the following message:
'upgrade your services to a plan that includes browsing and discover a world of possibilities at Blackberry App World. Contact your service provider for more details. '
Anyone have any idea why this is coming up and how to get it to work ? I have contacted T Mobile but they cannot see why it is not working :S
so you get email pushed to your BB?
That would mean you hav the BB data plan (t-mob uk call it the BB email booster).
There was a problem when app world first launched with messages such as the one you are getting, I found before they fixed it with a later version .31 that you could access via wi-fi.
check the version of app world you have options - advanced - applications

I dont have the same problem as the op however I did download the ap yesterday and each time I browsed the ap it seemed to keep having the hour glass keep turning and even when i exit the ap world it did the same thing. So i just uninstalled the program and my phone is back to normal.
is this app a memory hogger? my phone is new btw it isnt like i have so many apps to begin with.
@Fantastic yes it hogs memory, which is why i deleted it.
@Goodia, did you speak to customer services or technical support? if you spoke to customer services, they are useless as they know nothing about blackberries.
call back, select the option for a fault on your phone, and ask to talk to someone about your blackberry not working correctly.
This should put you through to technical support who will be able to work it.

Any link for this version ?
As ive rung up and the guy from technical support said that TMobile do not support this ! Only thing he could do was to take off the content filter as he said perhaps it could be that as things for over 18 are available from it .
