If I have a bluetooth headset paired with my 8330, when I hit the green answer key, the speakerphone activates for just a split second, then goes to the headset. If the person calling is talking or there is noise in the background, I can definitely hear it on the speakerphone clearly for just that split second. Anyone else experiencing this?

I have the same thing happening to me when I recieve a call and I don't use any kind of headsets. I answer the call and it comes over the Speaker for like 1 second then everything is fine.

No, just if I use the answer key on the bb.

when I ran .77 it would do that too. I never used the BT headset for talking so can't say if it did it then or not. Just a split second, would scare the crap outta ya too, always think I had it on speakerphone.

Same problem as well (without the headset). Always get people commenting on the other end of the line that I yell into the phone before answering.

Some kind of feedback from the speakerphone. It's been there since the 4.5 betas, but it seems worse with .77. Hopefully it will be fixed in the next release.

This has been happening with me on all three beta's I've tried, and I am on .77

For me, it happens no matter how I answer. It is just split second. When I am on BT, the person calling says there is wicked loud noise during that split second.

About the only complaint I have with .77 The only other issue I have is that data seems slow to recover after I am done on the phone. Turning the radio off and back on makes it quicker.

Same here when I answer my phone it does go to speakphone for a split second. I can live with that problem...lol

Go to .97. Bug disappeared when I loaded .97.

I'm running .101 and I have this happen on occasion. But it is only with one person in my address book. Everytime she calls me it goes to speakerphone for a split second and then back to normal. Noone else that calls me has the same issue tho...its weird.

This is a known issue with all 4.5 operating systems. It seems to initially disappear when you load .97 but then it does come back. I recently wiped my phone using JL_CMDR and then went back down to .89 and that seems to have done the trick for the time being but I am not holding my breath. I know that it will more than likely eventually come back. Hopefully this will be fixed with a future release. Supposedly .117 is the latest build but it can't seem to be found in the wild.

I had .77 I think on my 8330, and had the same issue. I had to go back to 4.3 because when I answered calls, people thought I was hanging up on them.

Hopefully they fix it, because I really liked 4.5....

The issue has been reported to be fairly intermittent. I have .97, and still have this problem... even after a clean wipe and reinstall. I also had this problem with the official release of 4.5 from my carrier.

I would bet RIM is working on it, just has still yet to come up with a decent solution.
