I don't care what they call it as long as T-Mobile gets it in the next 4-6 weeks.

I agree with the first two replies. Just sell it! You can call it whatever you want.

T-Mobile has the 8800. And the Pearl. Just like your beloved AT&Tingular...
AT&Tingular got the 8800 first; T-Mobile got the Pearl first.

That would be great for everyone!

As far as me, I had the Pearl and had been using the 8800 for months but just switched back into my 8700c. Boy I love that keyboard. I also still think the trackwheel has merit even though I know it is dead!

All this is in good fun as who ever gets it first will enjoy but the other carriers will be getting very soon afterwards, if not the same day. Gone are the days where you would wait for a year for a new RIM device. So many choices now, these ARE good times for Blackberry users!

8800 is not being sold in tmo retail stores so they can roll out 8300 in late may....cingular has spent all their money getting exclusive on iphone.....tmo will have the 8300 serious first. my tmo rep told me 100% sure they will be the first carrier of 8300.....i know reps are sometimes fed wrong info but look at the whole picture with 8800 only sold online, cingular releasing iphone in june.....makes sense to me.

...and who at TMO confirmed this? Speculation's rampant enough as it is on these forums.

You realize that the 8700 was released the same way on TMO and that had nothing to do with an upcoming BB release?

I really want to jump on it, but I am waiting for the 83xx (Papa Bear) -- It seems too good to pass on the Blackberry. I cannot wait to see it come out and I really like the name of it. Makes it sound all cool and hip and stuff.

Lets see, how big is AT&T/Cingular compared to T-Mo!

T-Mo might get it first but it will not be because AT&T/Cingular ran out of money! LOL!

Don't confuse T-Mobile US with the global company Deutsche Telecom...

Remember, there is more to the world than the US. Regardless of what Nextel told you in the past.

Such bitterness....

If the same 8300 is released for Tmobile and Cingular at the same time, I wonder if that means the WiFi will be cripled for Tmobile since Cingular has a habit of deactivating theirs?

In another thread, folks in the UK already have the 8300. No Wifi. No GPS. But it has a camera.
