I use my 8130 regulary as a mp3 player
it had always worked fine, until one day
it just stopped turning on.
I pull battery on and off and the red light comes on for a few seconds and then nothing. Also when I try to charge with cable does the same thing. please help

If you take the battery out, plug in the wall charger, you should get a 'no battery' symbol on the screen.
If you put the battery back in, leave the phone off, plug in the charger, do you get this same 'no battery' symbol on the screen?
If you do, the battery has died, try another and you'll hopefully be ok.
If not, I think the phone might have suffered a hardware failure.... :(
