With Blackberry default alarm, you cannot set alarm on a specific weekday. However, you can install MyAlarm.. it is a 3rd party app.

Go to the AfterMarket Software section of this forum http://www.blackberryforums.com/afte...n-tracker.html and search for "MyAlarm". you should get one and that would satisfy you needs.

I just forgot to tell one more thing.. the first time My Alarm starts an alarm, you have to allow both network connections and file connections.

If you're running OS 4.5 or higher (maybe even 4.3), MyAlarm will ask for you permission every time an alarm accesses a tone that is located on your micro SD card. It won't do this if you just use the included tone, but if you want to use your own on your SD card, then this would obviously be very frustrating as it wouldn't ring. You can try it yourself. You will find out that in order to stop it from asking, you have to enable your firewall. Options > Security Options > Firewall > enable.

ummmm..can't belive im the only one that knows this

You can set an alarm though your calander.

Open calander - and select "new alarm" through all that you can schedule when you want it to go off.

pretty easy

Yes you are right. In the calendar we can create 2 weekly alarms (Mon, Tue, Wed & Fri) at 6:40AM and the other just on Thu at 7:40AM. Good that you brought this point up !

Yeah, the key is to set up weekly alarms. Then during the process you can specify which days of the week you want the alarm on.

actually - if you go into the clock - and go to "options" you can change the alert for the alarm.

You need to play around a little! I figured this all out within an hour of having my BB!

Let us know if you can't get it.

You were pretty quick.. when I got my 1st BlackBerry it took me a longer time to figure out how things are.

I have an 8100 pearl. Sorry, but my calendar doesn't seem to have the "new alarm" option. Do I have to update something? I'm a newbie and appreciate your patience.

Default Use the calander

All you have to do is go into your calendar and have an event for ever weekday morning accept and have it at when ever you want to wake up, and have it last 5 minutes or something so it doesn't screw up your others stuff, and set the event for weekly and it will be there every week, and do the same thing for Thursdays accept change the time to 740

hope this helped.
