I get a Uncaught Exception: Java.lang.NullPointerException error when I press the space bar twice after I select one of the widgets. I am running version 1.53 on a 7290 running 4.1.309.

Default Blackberry Client Update version 1.54

Thanks for all the bug feedback - We've updated the Blackberry client with a few fixes. Thanks for all the bug reports and feedback. This version has the following changes:

- Fixes a bug when very large articles (>5000 characters) were not shown on RIMs with low memory
- Implemented pagination
- Fixed a bug where an exception would be thrown when attempting to use the "Read More" or "Call" functions.
- Fixed a bug where in the image slider it was sometimes not possible to select certain images.
- Fixed a bug where the client did not get minimized into the background in certain states
- Implemented pagination for large articles
- Increased the line spacing to make the text more readable

Current users will be prompted to update the client on the next synchronization session

Thanks,
-Srini

Well I'm happy to say it works flawlessly on my 7520. My only advice for changes:

- On the screen where we choose content, break everything down to their individual content. I didn't like choosing comics and getting Dilbert and 2 other crappy comics I'd never heard of (although deleting them was painless)

- Also on the content selection screen. Create radio buttons that allow me to select multiple items and then a big update button on the bottom. The current system seems a bit tedious.

- As stated earlier, use the space bar as a page down function for ease of viewing.

- Try to speed up the "optimizing content" screen. Since this is all offline content, it's slightly discouraging to see what amounts to a loading screen. Especially when backing your way back to the main menu.

- Try using more than one line of text when possible. For example, in the Google News section, the headlines are cut off, even thogh it appears there's enough room under the picture for 2 or even 3 lines of text.

That's all I can think of at the moment. All in all a great new program.

Few things:

1. Allow relocation of the icon
2. Allow typing the short-cut letter to get to the link
3. Allow creating the customized linkage
4. Instead of mere wheel and ALT, please allow keyboard, especially "enter"
5. Create some shortcuts

Once again, thanks for all the practical suggestions. We'll keep plugging away at it to make it better.

Thanks for being patient.

1. If you were never able to use the product after download, go to Test Programs from your BlackBerry device and download the application at the “Connection Test” link. If it runs successfully, it will have messages that say you’ve successfully connected to Plusmo.

Send us the results of "Connection Test" to help us troubleshoot this issue - either here or to [email address]

2. If its an intermittent error, send us your email id you registered with and we'll check the logs to see whats going on.

Thanks,
-Srini

You can load a website on www.plusmo.com. Once you do this, and enter your email address on the preview page, the site should be there on your device on the next sync. There's currently no option to add a URL on the mobile client.

Sorry you are still having problems - can you try our Connection Test program at http://plusmo.com/mobile/apps/rd.html and send us the results?

For the RSS feeds it's great (would be interested to see how much data it'll chew through in a month). What really annoys me about these programs is the 'find' programs like the Starbucks one are totally useless if you live outside the US. The UK has the highest uptake of BlackBerry anywhere in Europe and so often I come accross this problem. Real shame as it's a nice looking app, but otherwise great.

The new code drop is running very well. This application is really starting to grow on me. For those of you that have tried it and deleted it in the past, I recommend giving it another look.
