Problems with authentication wifi and internal websites

We have an internal website that is restricted using NTFS permissions on IIS when accessing this site via EDGE on a Blackberry you will get popped for your domain, user name and password. As long as you are added to the folder on the IIS server for access it all works well. If you try using this via wifi you get the error that this is an unsupported authentication shema. We are using WPA with a server cert for our wifi authentication. I was curious to find out of there is any reverse authentication that had to be configured on the wifi policy on the BES server in order for this work correctly. I know I had to allow for HTTP to do authentication and setup the proxy server in MDS in order to get this kind of authenication to work via EDGE connection.
