I recently purchased a BB 6750 and I've noticed there is a short pause when I select features like messaging and the calculator...just wondering if these features should 'instantly' pop up or if a near-second pause is natural.

The 6750 is one of the slower BlackBerrys around; it only has 10 MB of RAM, and the CDMA chipset seems to run a bit slower than the GPRS chipset. What you are seeing is normal for a 6750.
