...I m new to this forum... but i got my first blackberry curve 8320 a few days ago and I was wondering how I can install the "opera mini" application onto my phone? I installed the desktop software, but I don't see an option how to download software?

Also- I m with tmobile and they have wifi in theyr curve phones, so is it enough if i access my wifi internet from home and browse the internet on my blackberry? Does that work?

I didn't sign up for a data plan yet, I would like to get some extra software onto the phone first, but so far i can't figure out how to do that. Is there a previous thread on this, or some guide? I am lost. Any ideas are appreciated. Thank you

when you are connect to wifi, go to your browser, hit menu, options, browser config, and at the top choose hotspot browser

then back out and save your changes

next enter in www.operamini.com and download

I tried doing that, but the browser still opens the tmobile "subscription required" page up. I am pretty sure I m correctly connected to my wifi home internet, it shows up and also says UMA. this is so confusing.
