Is this BES controlled ?

version: 6.0.0.246 (using official carrier version)

The problem I have is when I try to attach a picture when composing an email (hit the paperclip), it goes to the media player for me to select. However, when I select the picture, it just opens the picture up without letting you attach it> My colleague when you go through the exact same motions, they get the choose size of picture and then attaches the picture to email.

So seems that for me, I "View" picture and not "Attach". (ie. even when I press and hold the picture, my submenu that comes up is "View", no option to "attach"

Check and see if you have content protection turned on and set to encrypt media files. Quick check would be to see if the image file has a .rem extension. If so, turn of encryption and unencrypt the media file, then try again.

And there in lies the problem .. seems the Corp BES has locked it out, so I can't even change it ...

My only other suggestion is talk to your IT admin. You mention other users who can do it. Maybe you were setup wrong by mistake. Or maybe your colleague was setup wrong (in which case your colleague may not be happy if you call attention to it).
