Wow. I was on travel last week and missed this thread. If Trimix hadn't referenced it in another thread today, I'd probably have totally missed it. But now that I have, I have a box of PINs in my sewing room. I'll look through them to see if I have any nice ones. Usually though they just stick my finger and that's definitely not nice.

Pick your PIN from the PINcushion .
I missed this one, had not trimix mentioned it in the epic fail thread!!
509 is a salesman people, he's trying to sell the idea of vanity PINs. Be nice. ;)

Wow, this person totally walked into all the criticism, after being told multiple times, they still wanted to buy a vanity pin. Wow...

The OP is probably being watched or wanted by the FBI for aiding and abetting certain people who don't want their BB traced to a real person.

I'm just curious as to how he plans to sell the PINs? I mean what if someone was interested in a PIN that he was selling but it was attached to a Pearl instead of a Curve. That might be a dealbreaker right there.

Lol.
There are plenty of companies that offer Blackberrys for anonymous communication.
It's hardly illegal. In fact, it's virtually no different than conventional prepaid cell service.

valid point. i think the person buying off 509 would have to make a very difficult choice.. vanity pin or device?
then again..he is trying to sell PIN's isn't he..? so his actual selling point would be.. VANITY PIN! ok now i've lost the plot.

Weren't we? After the initial exchange of "can I?" "no you can't"... he just kept trying to get the answer he wanted... after so long of saying "it can't be done", these types of threads deteriorate quickly into ridicule...

Seems to me the OP was searching, at midnight, in a dark room for a black cat that wasn't there. Not to be deterred by mere facts, he continued to call, "Here kitty kitty kitty!"
Tooling on him was the only correct thing to do.

You know... you are so wrong :P in my country there are actually blackberry with vanity pins which are hell expensive, like X1111111 cost 5500$(X=unknown letter or number) and there are quite a few of them.
I live in Dubai(U.A.E.) btw

This is the funniest thread I have ever read! BTW OP, by a nice pin, do mean one that does not stab you in the back, one that does not say bad things about you, or one that does not hurt. If it is any of those things, then I have a blackberry with a perfectly "nice" pin. It's just letters and numbers. Can't do any harm to you.

UAE isn't a country. It's a magical land where magical things happen. Take for instance the Palm project.

You forgot the Ski Resort inside the Mall, The World Project, The Ice Rink in the middle of the Dubai Mall.
And not to mention the lagoons, the burj-dubai building..to name a few of the magical places.
