Hello,
I installed BES 5.0 (in Win 2k8). I had a problem with the OCS integration so I decided uninstall (bad idea). Now, I’m trying to install the BES 5.0 again but the option of “local database location” is disabling (and I need it ;) )
That’s what I saw in the installation logs: “Setup determined that this is an upgrade. Setting the ConfigDbExists flag by default.”
Any clue about it??

You've got SQL installed and the installer is seeing a previously created database. Launch the SQL Server Management Studio and delete any BESMgmt database. Also go to the SQL data directory and delete the BESMgmt.mdf and paired ldf file.

I uninstalled SQL, also deleted BESMgmt database and the entire SQL directory. I also deleted all the registry entries with the names (Blackberry, RIM and BES). Nothing works!! The option of "local database location” is still disable.
