Hey everyone I have a newb question. After upgrading to the new OS 4.6.1.231 on Tmobile I am getting a Yellow Globe icon. I got this before when I first got the phone but I forgot how to turn that notification off. Also how do I turn off the Facebook notification on my homescreen. I thought I went into the app and did it but I still getting notifications. Plus I read that there is an even newer OS is this true?

check messages - view folder - browser messages and wap push messages

don't see why you would want FB notifications off, but never heard about turning off the homescreen notification.

Ok that helped get rid of that globe thanks. I normally use Facebook via the web as the App sometimes doesn't display stuff correctly sometimes.

Facebook app doesn't display information correctly most of the time and misses out a lot of information.

Not sure how to disable the notification though, as I didn't enable mine to begin with.

If you use the web to access facebook and do not want to be notified by the facebook app....remove the facebook app
