Hi,

My Bold (v 4.6.0.282 (platform 4.0.0.235) been acting funky lately. It keeps frozen up, the 'hourglass' appears most of the time, so I had to reboot couple times in a day (incl. hard reset).
Last night i pull out the 8gb sandisk media card (it's 4Gb free). restart my bb, and it works fine..... until i put it back again.

So I took out the media card, then got no problem at all.

Now I put up my sandisk 1 Gb media card (914 Mb Free), the 'hourglass' shows after about 30 minutes of usage (bb chat n email), although not as bad as when i'm using my 8gb media card (I don't have to reboot, just have to wait a little bit)

Any idea how do i solve this?

Try putting your card and formatting it from the berry.

Go to options>status when it is slow and hourglassy. Post your free file

Also, if formatting it from the bold does not work, format from the computer.

Try upgrading your software to 5.0.0.314

I formatted my card. MUCH BETTER, although doesn't eliminate the problem completely. Thank you dankarlinski and Miamirulz 29.

I will upgrade to the new OS too, and let's see how it goes. Thanks Goran008

So, any luck upgrading to newer OS? Let us know how things stand, because since I upgraded to 5.0.0.314 there's no more problems with media card.
