So the best advice to get round the problem of not knowing the password is to try ten times and reset it after that? Will this really work or is there a better way?

No apparently because my contract is an internet based account with O2 they don't support the data plan although my previous phons (Samsung D600) i could utilise the wap. Not happy if that's the case...
