Maybe can but very difficult. I know some BBer replace some contents of the install program with older or reedited the program to meet some special need, but it must skillfull on program write.

my BB is 8900, OS 5.0.0.461.
there are many speed key to BB special function. such as M to message, O to Option, it is very convinient for BBer, but there is not a key to carry out the quick close...
