my BB is 8900, OS 5.0.0.461.
there are many speed key to BB special function. such as M to message, O to Option, it is very convinient for BBer, but there is not a key to carry out the quick close function. Eg, i want to close message box i must " menu " and use traceball to choose the "close" menu--then put down traceball to "close" the message box. it is complicated. is there anyway to close a program quickly? TKS

When in the menu, pressing "C" should take you to the close option instead of scrolling there.

Hold down the back key (next to the hang up button) for a few seconds. This will close most programs after a few seconds of holding it
