what is meant by "in holster" or "out of holster" and what is the difference?

In holster means when phone is in a case or the plastic holster, out means just the opposite. I have my in holster setting for vibrate then tone that way if I want to answer before ringing begins I have about 60 seconds or so to that day. Comes in handy when you forget to turn phone on vibrate in church!
