Default I'm thinking of buying a 7105T as a replacement, but...

The reason I'm getting this phone is because my old samsung phone just bit the dust and does not show anything on the screen anymore. So I've been looking on ebay for a replacement phone and the 7105T looked promising.

The only concern I have is that right now I'm on a T-mobile service plan, and i was wondering if there is any fees attached in using the Blackberry 7105T, making it inoperable when putting in my existing SIM card. Or will the blackberry work straight away when i put in my sim card?

To get the most out of the device (email, Internet) you will need a BB dataplan. Not sure of all the options TMO has however.

Also check out the FAQ article on Buying a used BB on eBay. Might save you some problems.

Do they still support that model?

Thanks for directing me to the FAQ it may be very useful for me later on!

Anyways I wont' be using much of Email or internet on this phone, so I don't need any special data plans. The most I'd be using this phone is for texting and calling. Should I have any problems just doing a quick swap in this case? Or would I need to change my service plan to accommodate the BB?

If you just want to call and text then you don't need any extra plans. Just pop in your sim.
