Thats too complicated for me. It tells me to go where I cant find : ( Need simpler instructions : (

please help. I dont get it. Alot of things dont fit with the 8130.

Step 7 says to go to control panel, i cant find that on the bbl.

Step 8, I have no idea where to put that.

Control Panel is on your computer. Not on the Blackberry.

this is drivin me nuts, the instructions aint right for vista. after queryin, it says to click on properties. What properties?

Anyone willing to walk me through this, I screwed up somehow, tried to start over and standard modem isnt showing up now.

Reinstall Desktop Manager to get the standard modem back. Don't uninstall anything, just run the setup program again and it will reinstall the standard modem. Do a search of the forums for tethering and Vista. It's been posted about many times, I'm sure you'll find something. I don't remember off the top of my head how to enter the custom string in Vista.

Nm followin those instructions fckd my comp up where I can't even get it load the OS. Thank god I got the important stuff saved on bb.

Figures comp would fry out when I try and make it usefull. I'm sure it wasn't the instructions here that did it, it was just its time to die.

Call AT&T and add tethering plan added to account.
Install AT&T Connection Manager.
