i am new to blackberries, and just got a pearl. i've searched the web and multiple forums and cannot find an answer to my problem. please help.

when i plug my pearl in to charge with the AC charger, after sometime it turns itself off. it take a few minutes to turn back on. the led will also flash once it is off. not sure why it does this.

any advice. one post with a similar problem on a different device recommended to replace the unit. is my unit bad?

have you tried a different charger?

since its new I would advise you to go back to the dealer maybe the unit/battery is bad
