Hi all,

If I send an email to my blackberry but then accidentally delete it off my blackberry, is there a way to get it otherwise? I'm hoping so, but probably not... Is there some sort of webmail or something? Or do emails to/from @provider.blackberry.net addresses only stay on the blackberry?

If your BB is set such that when you delete an email, it does not delete with your email provider, you can retrieve the email with your email provider
e.g.

My berry always asks me if I want to delete off the handset only or really kill it off the handset and my account......

I believe once you delete the @xxx.blackberry.net email it is gone for good, since there is no other way to access this email except via BB

Option #2 is to run it through say.......a GMAIL acct (forward it) and then you would have an off the handset copy.......

I'm more looking to recover an email that I sent to my personal email from my blackberry @vzw. blackberry.net address. I sent it FROM my handheld *TO* my personal email, accidentally deleted it in my personal email, and since then I've gotten a new handheld. Was wondering if it was held anywhere in the middle in limbo somewhere.

Nope, since you deleted it off of your personal email server its gone. Sorry :(

You just discovered one of the big reasons not to us the carrier supplied email address. And just to confirm, using that address, once deleted, its gone for good.

Nope. Do not use your *.blackberry.net address except for forwarding email in cases where you can't integrate an existing email account with BIS.

Do integrate an email account with BIS whether it's a POP account, gmail, Yahoo or whatever. If you need webmail or other access to your mail you'll have that access with an account like that. There's no way to get to your *.blackberry.net email except on your BB.
