ok haha here we go. I got it working. but something in the picture files is whats causing it because I just loaded the ringtones on the card and everything is working just fine. all she had on the card was pictures and ringtones. she can just be happy with things the way they are.

I appreciate all the help, and now I am too tired to deal with this any longer. Thanks everyone for the help and have a good night all

I've seen this happen with certain videos that are loaded to the card. Any videos? Try it one folder at a time. Don't copy the folder. Only the files in the folder. Maybe you can narrow it down to which folder has the culprit file.

Edit: I type too slow. You could probably narrow it down further to which ringtone. Maybe a project for tomorrow. If you find it, please let us know what it was. This happens to a lot of people.

oh and when I uploaded the picture files, i just created new folders and added the pics from each of the folders back in one at a time. but it still had that problem. I didn't upload the entire folder. I have all her pics on my computer so I will email them to her this weekend when I can get to a wifi spot.

HA! Ok so I thought the drama was over....

She sends me a BB message today saying that she loves the new OS, that it looks great, etc etc. But now when she gets a message of any kind, the LED indicator light stays on. Doesn't blink just stays on. Is this an easy fix or would it be better to just downgrade to the previous OS? She likes this OS but she said it would be ok if she had to go back to the old one.

Do you have Color Pearl installed?

You will need to remove that application.
